Properties

• The variety is a soft non-lodging winter wheat (variety lutetescens) registered in the Variety Register of Ukraine in 2009.
• It belongs to the valuable medium-height wheat varieties, with plant height ranging from 80 to 90 cm. It exhibits high productive tillering.
• The weight of 1000 grains ranges from 41.3 to 52.4 g.

• Intensive cultivation variety;
• A variety of lutescens
• High productive tillering, which reduces the seeding rate to 3.0-3.5 million germinating seeds;
• High-yielding variety
• The variety belongs to Class A, which corresponds to the Ukrainian class of valuable wheat.

The variety exhibits good winter hardiness and drought tolerance. It has high resistance to lodging and grain shattering in the spike. It also shows high resistance to common bunt, brown leaf rust, and powdery mildew.

The milling and baking properties of the variety are good. The grain contains 11-11.5% protein and 21.9-22.8% gluten

ADVANTAGES OF THE VARIETY: The variety is characterized by a high ability for productive tillering, with 4 to 6 stems. It demonstrates good resistance to common diseases, scoring 7 to 8 points against powdery mildew, 8 to 9 points against brown rust, and 7 to 9 points against fusarium ear. It shows a resistance level of 8 to 9 points against the Swedish fly and the shell bug. Additionally, it is highly resistant to lodging and grain shedding in the ear. This variety exhibits high performance.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE VARIETY: The LG CERAMICS variety is a mid-late soft stub (lutescens variety) of baking winter wheat (Class A). It was included in the state register in 2020. This intensive type offers an excellent combination of high yield, disease tolerance, and quality indicators. It adapts well to various soil types and ranks among the top three winter wheat varieties in terms of acreage in Europe.

CULTIVATION RECOMMENDATIONS: This variety requires intensive technology with adequate nitrogen nutrition. Growth regulators should only be applied during the formation of an uneven stem. It tolerates stubble predecessors satisfactorily. Optimal sowing dates range from early to medium.
